Elizabeth (Beth) J. Korinek, M.P.H., has directed CPEP, the Center for Personalized Education for Professionals, since 1993. Under her leadership, the Denver-based program gained wide-spread recognition as one of the premier physician competence assessment and education programs in the North America, serving the needs of over 7,000 healthcare professionals from all 50 U.S. states and several Canadian provinces.
Ms. Korinek has published and been invited to speak, both nationally and internationally, on the subjects of clinical competence, reentry to clinical practice, late-career physicians, inter-professional communication and professionalism. She has been a speaker at the NAMSS educational conference annually since 2015 and has spoken at numerous national and state organizations.
Ms. Korinek received her Masters in Public Health Degree from UCLA. Ms. Korinek’s public service experience includes serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Paraguay and leading service teams to impoverished communities in Nicaragua.
