Javier D. Landivar, MBA, FACHE, CHC, serves as Vice President of Business Development and Medical Services Administration at Access Community Health Network (ACCESS). ACCESS is one of the nation’s largest networks of Federally Qualify Health Centers with 35 health centers and over 240 providers caring for 170,000 patients, in the Chicago area.
In his role, Javier leads business development strategies for organizational level partnerships, affiliations, and system-wide initiatives focused on innovative ambulatory practice models to expand access to care, improve the overall care delivery model, and decrease health inequity. He provides executive level management over business development, practice management, policy development, medical staff relations, recruitment, credentialing and contracting.
Javier received multiple awards during his career. The most recent awards include the 2019 Young Healthcare Executive Award by the Chicago Health Executive Forum, 2020 Junior Officer of the Year Award, and 2020 Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (Two Awards) by the United States Navy. In addition, Javier received the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, in 2018, awarded for performing outstanding volunteer community service of a sustained, direct and consequential nature.
Javier is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is certified in healthcare compliance by the Compliance Certification Board. Javier served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, Medical Service Corps, as a Health Care Administrator. Javier received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Masters of Business Administration, and Post-Graduate Certificate in Health Care Administration from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
