NAMSS released the NAMSS Credentialing by Proxy in collaboration with ATA in September 2022. The guidebook is meant to assist MSPs, and hospitals navigate the credentialing process for remote/telemedicine services. As demand for telemedicine increases, the number of credentialing applications and associated administrative burdens of traditional credentialing and privileging processes also increase as more telemedicine practitioners seek privileges at more hospitals. Best practices will be presented along with current trends and regulations in telemedicine.
