Session Description: Come along on a journey of transformation from a “punitive peer review” to a collegial process with education and patient safety at the forefront. Working together the Medical Staff, Administration and the Medical Services Professional (MSP) a change is occurring in the culture. Driving toward engagement, patient safety and quality a change has occurred. With a strong medical staff leader, a change in policies, communication and collaborating, we together are change agent.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion, participant will be able to list who they would want to partner with to drive a change within their system working with internal departments and medical staff.
Upon completion, participant will be able to conduct a review their peer review policy, evaluate the need to revise/update the policy and review their state guidelines.
Upon completion, participant will be able to demonstrate leadership skills in driving the change.
