Session Description: Learning about generational differences and applying these differences can foster a culture of inclusion. It allows a diverse range of views and talents that can be utilized and valued resulting in a highly engaged and fruitful workforce. This session will explore the peer personality of each generation through both presentation and generational skits. It will include specific tips that can be utilized on how to work with and manage differences. Commonalities will also be identified. Concepts discussed should help to cut down on employee turnover in the multi-generational work force. (NOTE: Participants do not need to attend both Part I and II but it would be most beneficial).
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion participants will be able to describe the peer personality of each generation in the work force today.
Participants will be able to identify expectations of each generation in the work force.
Participants will be able to employ tips on how to work with and manage differences of each generation as well as commonalities.
