Session Description: The US Navy Seals have a saying, “get comfortable being uncomfortable.” If you can be comfortable being uncomfortable, you’ll be prepared to handle whatever situations come along in your own life. As an MSP, you are constantly being pulled into new situations that stretch you past your comfort zone. Whether you are starting a new role which has you feeling uncomfortably awkward, working with different personalities, having hard conversations with colleagues, or volunteering as a NAMSS State Leader, harnessing the power of discomfort is key to professional growth. In this session, you will understand the importance of discomfort, hear true examples of uncomfortable situations, lessons learned and simple tools to help you achieve your professional goals.
